Booking & Reservations
How do I book an RV or camper rental?
The easiest way is to book directly on our Book page. Choose your dates, select your unit, and complete your reservation online. You can also call us at 317-804-1508 if you’d prefer to book by phone or have questions before reserving.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible — especially for summer weekends, holiday weekends, and major event weekends like the Indy 500, NHRA, or Brickyard. Our fleet is small and books up fast during peak season. We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance for busy times. That said, we do get last-minute cancellations, so it’s always worth checking availability even close to your trip dates.
What is the minimum rental period?
Our standard minimum rental is 2 nights. Some peak weekends or special events may have a 3-night minimum. Check availability on the booking page for exact requirements around your dates.
What is your cancellation policy?
Standard cancellation is 100% refund beyond 14 days, 75% 7-14 days out and no refund within 7 days.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, a refundable security deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit amount varies by unit. It is returned after your rental ends and the unit is inspected, provided there is no damage beyond normal wear. Contact us for specific deposit amounts for the unit you’re interested in.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit cards through our online booking system. Contact us if you have questions about payment options.
Requirements & Eligibility
What is the minimum age to rent?
The primary renter must be at least 25 years old and have a valid driver’s license. Please contact us if you have questions about renter eligibility.
Do I need a special license or towing experience?
No — because Hoosier RV handles all delivery and pickup, you don’t need a special license, a tow vehicle, or any prior RV experience. We drive the unit to your campsite, set it up, and retrieve it when your trip is over. You just need a standard driver’s license to get yourself to the campground.
Do I need insurance?
Our rentals include basic coverage. We recommend reviewing your existing auto or renters insurance policy as it may provide additional coverage. Contact us for full details on what’s covered and any optional protection plans available.
Delivery & Setup
Do you deliver the RV to my campsite?
Yes — that’s one of the things that sets Hoosier RV apart. We deliver your unit directly to your campsite, fully set it up (level it, connect hookups, extend slide-outs, open the awning), do a complete walkthrough with you, and pick it up when your rental ends. You never have to tow anything. Learn more on our RV Delivery Service page.
Where do you deliver?
We’re based in Zionsville, Indiana and primarily serve the greater Indianapolis metro area and central Indiana. We deliver to Indiana state parks, private campgrounds, event venues, and even private property (including backyards). Contact us for delivery to locations farther afield — we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Can you deliver to an Indiana state park?
Absolutely. We deliver to Indiana state parks regularly, including Shades, Turkey Run, Brown County, Chain O’ Lakes, Prophetstown, and others. You’ll need to book a campsite with electric hookups through the Indiana DNR reservation system, then share your site details with us and we’ll coordinate the rest.
Can you deliver to my backyard?
Yes! Backyard glamping is hugely popular — great for birthday parties, kids’ sleepovers, staycations, or testing out RV life before booking a longer trip. As long as there’s access for our delivery vehicle and basic utility hookup nearby, we can make it happen.
Is there a delivery fee?
Delivery fees are based on distance from our Zionsville, Indiana location. Fees are calculated during the booking process. Contact us if you’d like an estimate for your specific destination before booking.
What’s Included
What comes with my rental?
Every Hoosier RV rental includes:
- Delivery to your campsite and pickup at the end of your stay
- Full leveling and hookup setup (shore power, water, sewer where available)
- Slide-out extension and awning setup
- Complete system walkthrough by our team
- On-call support throughout your trip

Exact inventory may vary by unit. Contact us if you have questions about what’s included with a specific RV or camper.
Do I need to bring bedding or towels?
Bedding and linens are included with your rental. We recommend bringing your own towels, toiletries, and any personal items you prefer. Think of it like packing for a hotel stay — except with a full kitchen and the great outdoors right outside your door.
Is there a kitchen in the RV?
Yes! All of our units come with a fully equipped kitchen including a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and basic cookware and utensils. You can cook full meals just like at home. Bring your groceries and you’re set.
Does the RV have air conditioning and heat?
Yes. All of our units have both air conditioning and a furnace, so you’re comfortable no matter the season. A/C and heat run on shore power (electric hookup at your campsite) or on the generator when hookups aren’t available.
During Your Trip
What if something goes wrong during my rental?
We provide on-call support throughout your rental period. If you have a question about how something works or run into an issue, give us a call or text and we’ll help troubleshoot. If needed, we can come out to assist. Our goal is to make sure your trip goes smoothly start to finish.
Are pets allowed?
Pet policies vary by unit. Please contact us before booking to confirm whether pets are permitted in the specific unit you’d like to rent and to review any associated pet fees or requirements. We want your whole family — furry members included — to have a great trip.
Is smoking allowed in the RV?
No. All of our units are strictly non-smoking. Smoking inside any unit will result in forfeiture of your security deposit and additional cleaning fees. Smoking outside the unit at a respectful distance is fine.
Can I have a campfire?
Campfires are one of the best parts of camping! Just follow the rules of your specific campground or state park — some locations have fire restrictions depending on conditions. Always keep the campfire a safe distance from the RV.
How many people can stay in the RV?
It depends on the unit. Our travel trailers and Class C motorhomes sleep anywhere from 4 to 10 people depending on the floor plan. Check the individual unit listings on our Campers and RVs page for exact sleep capacities. Our bunkhouse models are especially popular for larger families.
The RVs & Campers
What types of RVs do you rent?
We offer a mix of travel trailers and Class C motorhomes. Our fleet includes bunkhouse models ideal for families, couples’ getaway units, and larger motorhomes for those who want more space and amenities. View all available units on our Campers and RVs page.
Do I need to pick up the RV or drive it myself?
No. We deliver every unit to your location — you never have to drive, tow, or pick up the RV yourself. This is one of the things that makes Hoosier RV different from national platforms where you’re responsible for pickup and towing. We handle everything on our end so you can just focus on your trip.
Are your RVs clean and well-maintained?
Yes — every unit is thoroughly cleaned and inspected between each rental. We take pride in maintaining our fleet so every guest starts their trip with a fresh, fully functional unit. If anything is ever less than perfect when you check in, let us know immediately and we’ll make it right.
