  • No Towing. No Setup. No Stress. That’s the Hoosier RV Way.

Towing? Setup? Breakdown? Yeah… we handle all of that.

One of the biggest reasons people don’t go camping isn’t that they don’t want to — it’s that the logistics feel overwhelming. You need a truck that can tow. You need to know how to back a trailer into a site. You need to figure out leveling, hookups, slide-outs, and awnings. And then when the weekend’s over, you have to do it all in reverse.

Hoosier RV exists to eliminate every single one of those friction points. That’s been our mission from the start — here’s the story behind why we built Hoosier RV the way we did.

    Here’s How It Actually Works

When you book with Hoosier RV, here’s what happens:

    1. You book your camper and campsite — we’ll help you figure out the right fit if you’re not sure
    2. We deliver the camper to your campsite — you don’t need a tow vehicle, a hitch, or any special equipment
    3. We set everything up — leveled, hooked up, slides out, and ready to walk into
    4. You arrive and enjoy — your home away from home is waiting, not a puzzle to solve
    5. When the trip ends, we handle pickup — just leave it how you found it and head home

That’s it. No YouTube tutorials. No white-knuckling down the highway with a 30-foot trailer. No “honey, go left, no my left” moments in a crowded campground.

Perfect for First-Timers and Experienced Campers Alike

Our delivery model isn’t just for people who’ve never camped before. Plenty of our repeat customers are experienced campers who simply don’t want the hassle anymore. They’ve towed trailers for years and they’ve decided their weekends are better spent relaxing than stressing over logistics.

We also hear from a lot of families where one person is the “camper” and the other is skeptical. Delivery and setup is often the thing that tips the skeptic into actually wanting to go — because suddenly, the hard parts aren’t their problem. If you’ve never rented an RV before, read our full guide on everything Hoosier RV handles for you.

Your Trip Actually Feels Like a Getaway

The whole point of a camping trip is to get away from the grind. When setup is already done before you pull in, your trip starts the moment you arrive — not two hours later after you’ve figured out why the slide won’t go out all the way.

All you have to do is show up and enjoy. Once you’re there, our 5-minute RV arrival checklist will have you fully settled and relaxing in no time. And if you want to know more about what makes Hoosier RV different, we’d love to tell you.

Ready to book? Browse our available campers or reach out and we’ll help you find the right one.

  • Costco Finds That Double as Perfect RV Accessories

Costco finds… but make it RV-friendly. If you’ve ever wandered the Costco aisles and thought “that would be great for camping,” you’re not wrong. Some of the best RV accessories aren’t sold in camping stores — they’re sitting in bulk warehouses, waiting for you to notice them.

Here are some of our favorite Costco picks that save space, save money, and make life on the road (or at the campsite) way easier.

    1. Collapsible Storage Containers

Space is premium in any RV. Costco regularly carries collapsible silicone containers and nesting food storage sets that take up almost no room when empty. Pack your leftovers, store snacks, and collapse everything flat when you’re done. Way better than a pile of mismatched Tupperware.

    2. Kirkland Paper Towels and Trash Bags (in Bulk)

You will go through more paper towels camping than you think. Buying a Kirkland 12-pack before a trip saves multiple convenience store stops and keeps the camper stocked all weekend. Same goes for heavy-duty trash bags — campsite cleanup is a lot easier when you’re not hunting for a bag that won’t split.

    3. Camp Chairs (Costco Seasonal)

Costco’s seasonal furniture section often has excellent padded camp chairs and folding chairs at great prices. Comfortable, sturdy, and priced well below what you’d pay at an outdoor specialty retailer. Grab a set while they’re out — they tend to sell through fast in spring.

    4. Pre-Made Meals and Snack Variety Packs

One of the best parts of RV camping is having a kitchen. One of the best parts of Costco is the prepared food section. Grab a rotisserie chicken, some pre-cut fruit trays, a box of granola bars, and a variety pack of chips — and you’ve got three days of easy camp food without any planning.

    5. Bug Spray and Sunscreen Multi-Packs

Both are essential for any outdoor trip and both are much cheaper per unit at Costco than at a campground store. The Deep Woods OFF! multi-pack and the Neutrogena sunscreen 3-packs are perennial favorites — stock up once and you’re covered for the whole season.

    6. Portable Power Bank (Anker or Similar)

Costco frequently carries Anker or Belkin high-capacity power banks at competitive prices. Perfect for keeping phones charged at the campsite, especially useful if you’re using a site without electrical hookups or want to keep devices topped off during day hikes.

Pro Tip: Stock Up Before You Pick Up Your Camper

With Hoosier RV, we deliver your camper directly to your campsite — so your Costco run the day before a trip is the perfect prep routine. Load up the cooler, pack the bags, and arrive at your site to find your camper already set up and waiting. Once you’re there, our 5-minute RV arrival checklist will have you fully relaxed in no time.

  • Why We Started Hoosier RV (It Wasn’t Just to Rent Campers)

We didn’t start Hoosier RV just to rent campers.

We started it because getting away should feel easy. We saw too many families that wanted to go camping but got stuck in the planning — the towing logistics, the setup headaches, the “do we have everything?” panic the night before. We saw people who wanted to disconnect from their routines but couldn’t figure out how to make it happen without adding a whole new set of stressors.

We thought: what if we just took all of that off your plate?

    Less Stress. More Time Together.

The whole idea behind Hoosier RV is simple: we handle the hard parts so you can focus on the good parts. We deliver the camper to your campsite. We set it up. We make sure everything’s clean, stocked, and ready before you get there. And when the trip’s over, we take care of breakdown and pickup. Want the full picture of how it works? Read about our no-towing, no-setup delivery model.

What you get is more time. More time with your kids, your partner, your friends. More time making memories instead of managing logistics. That’s what we set out to do from day one, and it’s what drives us every booking.

A Family Business Built Around Family Trips

Hoosier RV is family owned and operated, and that shows in how we work. We’re not a faceless rental platform — we’re real people who pick up the phone, answer your questions, and genuinely want your trip to go well. When you reach out to us, you’re talking to someone who cares about the experience you’re about to have.

We’re based in Zionsville, Indiana, and we love helping Hoosiers (and visitors!) discover the best camping this state has to offer — from Brown County to the Indiana Dunes and everywhere in between.

Own an RV? You Could Be Earning With It.

One thing that grew naturally out of our mission: some of the RVs in our fleet belong to other owners who’ve entrusted them to us through our RV consignment program. We handle everything — bookings, cleaning, maintenance, payments — and they earn passive income from an RV that would otherwise be sitting in a driveway. If that sounds interesting, learn more about how consignment works.

Thanks for Being Part of It

Every booking, every review, every photo you share from a Hoosier RV trip — it means something to us. If we can make your time together simpler and more enjoyable, then we’ve done exactly what we set out to do.

  • Celebrate Earth Day the Right Way: Get Outside with Hoosier RV

Fresh air. Quiet mornings. Time outside. There’s a reason Earth Day hits differently when you’re actually in nature — not just scrolling through photos of it.

Earth Day is a reminder to slow down and appreciate what’s right outside your door. And Indiana? It’s full of it — state parks, forested campgrounds, lakeside sites, and wide open fields perfect for waking up to birdsong instead of a phone alarm.

The Best Way to Honor Earth Day? Actually Go Outside

It’s easy to feel disconnected from the outdoors when your week is back-to-back meetings, school pickups, and to-do lists. A camping trip — even just a long weekend — resets all of that. You breathe slower. You sleep better. You remember what actually matters.

Hoosier RV makes it easy to get there. We deliver your camper directly to your campsite and have it fully set up before you arrive. No towing, no setup stress, no learning curves. Just show up, breathe deep, and enjoy.

Great Indiana Spots to Celebrate the Season

Spring is genuinely one of the best times to camp in Indiana. Here are a few spots worth considering — and for a deeper dive, check out our guide to Indiana’s top 4 state park camping spots:

    • Brown County State Park — Indiana’s largest state park, stunning in spring with wildflowers and forested trails
    • McCormick’s Creek State Park — limestone canyons, waterfalls, and some of the most peaceful camping in the state
    • Potato Creek State Park — a beautiful lake, great for families with kids who want to fish or kayak
    • Ouabache State Park — off the beaten path and worth every mile

If wildflowers are your thing, don’t miss our post on Indiana Wildflower Weekends 2026 — spring bloom season is short, so plan ahead.

    Special Earth Day Discount

To celebrate Earth Day, we’re offering 10% off nightly rates when you use discount code EarthDay26 at booking. Reserve now and use it for any trip this year — there’s no rush to camp tomorrow, just lock in the savings today.

Who Are You Bringing With You?

Earth Day is even better with the people you love. Grab the family, the friends, whoever needs a good reason to put the phone down and look up at the sky for a while. Bringing a crew? Group RV travel often costs less than you’d think when you split it.

Browse our available campers at HoosierRV.com or give us a call to start planning your trip.

  • Split the Cost, Double the Fun: Why Group RV Travel Is a No-Brainer

Here’s a number that might surprise you: when you split an RV rental among four to six people, it often costs less per person than a single hotel room. That’s not just a small difference — that’s a game changer.

Group travel has a reputation for being complicated. Someone has to find a big enough Airbnb. Someone has to coordinate check-in times. Someone always ends up in the room next to the elevator. An RV flips all of that on its head.

More Space, More Flexibility, Way More Fun

With a Hoosier RV rental, your whole group travels together and stays together — in a comfortable, fully equipped camper with a kitchen, sleeping space for the crew, and no one stuck in a separate room across the parking lot. You cook together, hang out together, and wake up together at the campsite instead of a check-in desk.

And because we deliver the RV directly to your campsite and have it ready when you arrive, there’s zero logistics headache. No towing, no setup, no stress — just show up and enjoy.

The Math Works in Your Favor

Let’s say you’re planning a weekend trip with five friends. A couple of decent hotel rooms in a popular area might run $150–$200 per room per night — that’s $300–$400 a night just for beds. An RV rental from Hoosier RV sleeping all six of you? Often the same price or less, split five ways.

And unlike a hotel, you’ve also got a full kitchen (no $80 dinners out every night), a private outdoor space, and the freedom to camp wherever the adventure takes you. For a deeper look at the numbers, check out our full hotel vs. RV rental cost breakdown.

Perfect for All Kinds of Groups

Group RV trips work for just about any occasion:

    • Family reunions — everyone in one place, no hotel shuffle
    • Friend group getaways — bachelor/bachelorette trips, birthday weekends, just-because adventures
    • Sports and hobby events — races, airshows, powwows, festivals
    • Corporate offsites — something way more memorable than a conference room. (See how we help plan corporate retreats)

The bigger the group, the better the value. And the more people you’re traveling with, the more you’ll appreciate having a shared home base instead of scattered hotel rooms.

  • From Boardroom to Backroads: Plan Your Next Corporate Retreat in an RV

The best strategy sessions don’t always happen in a conference room. Sometimes the clearest thinking comes when you step away from the office — way away — and trade the boardroom for the backroads.

At Hoosier RV, we’ve helped companies elevate their off-site strategy with RV and camper rentals that bring teams together in a whole new way. Whether it’s a leadership retreat, a team-building weekend, or a creative brainstorm in the great outdoors, an RV rental is the ultimate upgrade from a generic hotel conference room.

Why RVs Work for Corporate Off-Sites

    • Flexible spaces — spread across multiple units or gather in one for group sessions
    • Private and distraction-free — no lobby noise, no interruptions, just your team
    • Fully equipped — kitchen, sleeping quarters, and everything you need for a productive weekend
    • Delivery & setup included — our RV delivery service handles all logistics so your team can focus on what matters
    • Memorable experiences — teams that camp together, bond together

We Scale to Fit Your Team

Need one cozy unit for a small leadership team? Or a fleet of five for a department-wide retreat? We can scale our rentals to fit any group size. Browse our available campers and RVs to see what fits your group, with delivery and setup taken care of from start to finish.

  • Rainy Weekend? Don’t Let an Indiana Downpour Keep You Home

Some of our favorite camping memories aren’t from sunny hikes — they’re from rainy afternoons spent playing cards and laughing inside the camper while rain drums on the roof.

Sound familiar? There’s something magical about being cozy and dry inside a fully-equipped camper while a spring storm rolls through. You’re surrounded by nature, but you’ve got all the comforts of home. No soggy tents. No flooded sleeping bags. Just good company, good food, and the sound of rain on the roof.

Don’t Let the Forecast Ruin Your Weekend

Indiana springs are unpredictable — but your weekend doesn’t have to be. When you rent an RV from Hoosier RV, a little rain is just part of the ambiance. You still get:

    • A warm, dry place to sleep no matter the weather
    • A full kitchen to cook hot meals when it’s too wet to grill
    • Games, movies, and family time without staring at four walls at home
    • The great outdoors just outside your window — on your terms

Glamping Means Never Being at the Mercy of the Weather

That’s the beauty of glamping. You’re out in nature, breathing fresh air, waking up to birdsong — but you’ve got climate control, a real bed, and hot coffee waiting for you. A rainy day in an RV is still 100 times better than a rainy Saturday stuck at home.

Best of all, our RV delivery service means the camper is set up and waiting at your campsite before you even arrive — no matter the forecast. Browse our full fleet of travel trailers and Class C motorhomes to find the right fit, or check our FAQ if you have questions before booking.

Ready to give your family a front-row seat to nature, without the mud? Book your camper rental today and make this spring one to remember — rain or shine.
